Welcome Green Beaners

Posted on June 03, 2008 at 02:41 PM

Welcome to my side of the tracks. I really enjoyed doing the recap last night.

I made a lot of notes, and got a lot of them out in the recap. I was concerned about it being too long. There was a lot of gravy in those 2 hours.

There was 1 additional comment that I did not include in the recap, but will salt my blog with it. Jeremy strikes me as the guy in "Look At My Striped Shirt" a little bit.

Thanks again.

You did a nice job I love the hip hop parenting 123 get loose now comment that I just read. I have a 4 year old and count to 3 constantly. It will never be the same for me. Thanks for that! I think it is revolutionary!

Okay, "some guy", I'm a little freaked out right now. In this great big world known as cyberspace, I never dreamed I would be 2 degrees away from the infamous Lincee. I've been a follower of hers since the email days and am addicted to her blog. I never dreamed an old friend would step in to take her place one day! Great job on the recap, and props to you for even watching the show. There is NO way Bryon would sit through 10 minutes of it! I agree "Kiss the Girl" would have been nice in the background...

You did an awesome job on the recap!!! Very impressed!

you did a great job on the recap, and i love a local dallas reference or a good 80s reference any day. i also lauged about your 1,2,3 get loose now.

i don't have kids but when i was a kid, my mom used the same technique (only counting backwards from 5) I remember that if she told me not to touch something, i'd keep touching it until she got down to 1 and then I'd let go. I hope your "other one" responds better than I did, haha.

Good job on the recap! I live in the "town of cows" so my home team is your college! The irony is that I traded my home team in the town of cows for a mascot that is a cow. Longhorn to be specific. Hook 'em!

Loved the recap! So funny! Thanks for doing it this week!

I think "Look at my striped shirt" guy and "my new haircut guy" (http://youtube.com/watch?v=4JMOh-cul6M) are related.
